PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for achieving smooth folding of a wheelchair 1, in the foldable wheelchair 1 arranged with a battery 8 in the rear of a backrest 12.SOLUTION: A backrest 12 is bent to a rear side as a wheelchair body 2 is folded, and a wheelchair 1 includes a battery moving member 9 for moving a battery 8 to a rear side as the wheelchair body 2 is folded. Consequently, it is possible to effectively suppress the bend of the backrest 12 toward the rear side from being inhibited by the battery 8, by moving the battery 8 to the rear side against a weight of the battery 8, when the wheelchair body 2 is folded.
