Hence disclosed herein a blender in the production of product including a blend of powders, including a milk powder, wherein the blender includes a blending chamber, an agitator disposed within the blending chamber, and an inlet for introduction of powders into the blending chamber, characterised in that an environment-regulating means is associated with the blender via at least one interface point, for regulating the environment inside the blending chamber, wherein the environment-regulating means is configured to regulate the environment inside the blending chamber prior to blending of powders inside the blending chamber.
