PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing, which is easy to incorporate a sounding device and has excellent productivity. SOLUTION: A spinning reel for fishing is provided with a sounding device 50. The sounding device 50 includes a first member 51 that is attached to a wall portion provided on the spool 3 and rotates integrally with the spool 3, a second member 53 that engages with the spool shaft 8 side, a first member 51, and a first member 51. A sound emitting member 54 provided on one of the two members 53 is provided. The other of the first member 51 and the second member 53 constitutes a sounding member in which the sound producing member 54 is elastically engaged to produce a sound. A locking means is provided between the second member 53 and the spool shaft 8. The locking means locks the second member 53 side and the spool shaft 8 side with a predetermined play in the rotation direction of the spool shaft 8.
