PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio type subject internal information acquisition device capable of accurately collecting subject internal images by switching an imaging mode at preset optional timing in a capsule type endoscope.SOLUTION: Upon constituting the radio type subject internal information acquisition device, a CCD 22 to acquire subject internal image information in the subject, a CCD drive circuit 23 to drive a CCD to actuate the image information acquisition by the CCD in different speed modes, a flip-flop circuit 46 to instruct mode switching to make a drive period wherein the CCD drive circuit drives the CCD and a switching period wherein a mode is switched to form a time series, and an RF transmission unit 24 to radio-transmit the image information acquired by the CCD to the exterior of the subject are provided.
