PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reasonable power distribution in an ultrasonic diagnostic system consisting of a plurality of apparatuses.SOLUTION: When an AC/DC adapter is connected only to an FE apparatus 12, external power supplied to the FE apparatus 12 is supplied to a load 200, and is supplied to a battery 60 as required. Part of the external power is transmitted to a BE apparatus 14 as interchange power. The interchange power is supplied to a load 208, and is supplied to a battery 102 as required. When no adapter is connected to the FE apparatus 12, a switching circuit 202 performs a disconnecting operation.
