The present invention relates to a method and a system for reconstructing an internal tomographic image and, more specifically, to a method and a system for reconstructing an internal tomographic image, which can reconstruct an internal tomographic image from projection data inside and outside a region of interest of a subject photographed by internal tomography while minimizing the distortion and artifacts of the image inside the region of interest by adjusting a weight for data fidelity outside the region of interest according to the error reduction in the data fidelity inside the region of interest in repeatedly performing a process of improving the data fidelity of the projection data and minimizing the total variation of the reconstructed image.
