The present disclosure relates to a container for storing and preserving fluid dairy product(s) under solar irradiation, the container can include an internal surface and an external surface, and a plurality of nanocomposites disposed on at least a portion of the internal surface. The nanocomposites can be core-shell nanocomposites that exhibit photocatalytic effect when exposed to light, and the freshness of a stored fluid dairy product can be maintained by making a direct contact between the nanocomposites and the fluid dairy product. The disclosed container is inexpensive, affordable by local farmers, and highly efficient in disinfecting spoilage and pathogenic microorganisms in fluid dairy products.
