The invention relates to a unique absorbent pad made of sterile organic cotton, with tourmaline tape, anion and infrared radiation emission, which ensures, besides protection, the elimination of bacteria, as well as the prevention of more or less temporary diseases that women may face, such as irritation, inflammation and infections of urinary tract. According to the invention, the absorbent pad comprises eight protective layers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8), each of them having a well defined role in ensuring the product benefits, namely: a layer (1) for supplementary protection on both sides, preventing side leaks and underwear staining, a layer (2) with large organic cotton surface, with instantaneous drying, offering a pleasant tactile sensation, very delicate with the sensitive skin, capable to prevent irritation, inflammation, rush and unpleasant sensations perceived in case of other absorbing pads, a layer (3) consisting of a tape of anion emission of 6000/cm, with tourmaline and infrared radiation emission, which neutralizes unpleasant smells without added fragrances or perfumes which could cause allergies, and which adjusts the pH, the tape preventing bacteria from surviving and proliferating throughout the absorbent pad surface and making it unique on the market, a first layer (4) of sterile non-recycled paper which guides the menstrual fluid towards the superabsorbent polymer, a layer (5) of a polymer gel biodegradable material which ensures the instantaneous absorption of fluid while allowing the absorbent pad to be permanently dry, a second layer (6) of sterile non-recycled paper for additional protection, a layer (7) made of a liquid-impervious base material which provides maximum protection and allows air circulation while eliminating humidity and heat and a layer (8) consisting of a non-toxic food-industry-grade adhesive, for better fixing the pad to the underwear.Invenţia se referă la un absorbant unic, din bumbac organic, steril, banda cu turmalină,
