An implantable article for regulating blood flow directions in a human patient, comprising: a flap having a thickness and made of a composite material including more than one fluoropolymer layer having a plurality of pores and elastomer present substantially all the pores of more than one a fluoropolymer layer, wherein the valve is characterized by the relationship between the leaf thickness (microns) and number of layers of fluoropolymer, less than about 5.2. The product according to Claim. 1, wherein the ratio between the sash thickness (microns) and number of layers of fluoropolymer is less than about 3, preferably less than about 1, more preferably less than approximately 0,5.3. The product according to Claim. 1, wherein the flap includes at least 10 layers, and a composite material comprising less than about 50% (wt.) ftorpolimera.4. An implantable article for regulating the flow direction of a human patient, comprising: a sash cyclically which passes between the closed configuration to substantially prevent blood flow through an implantable product, the opening configured to ensure blood flow through an implantable article, the flap is made of a plurality of fluoropolymer layers and characterized by the ratio between the sash thickness (microns) and number of layers of fluoropolymer, less than about 5.7.
