PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial processing agent for a fiber, which is applied to a fiber material in post processing, has superior dispersion stability, and can impart superior antibacterial properties and washing durability to the fiber material a method for producing the antibacterial processing agent and the antibacterial processing agent.SOLUTION: The antibacterial processing agent for the fiber essentially contains: a silver-based inorganic antibacterial agent (A) obtained by making an inorganic carrier support an antibacterial metal containing silver at least one compound (B) selected from a compound represented by the general formula (1), a compound represented by the general formula (2) and a compound represented by the general formula (3) and water.
