A mask system for delivering pressurized breathable gas to a patient for treatment of sleep disordered breathing, comprising: a mask including a front panel (30) disposed on a non-patient-contacting side of the mask； a back panel (20) disposed on a patient-contacting side of the mask, the front panel and the back panel together at least partially forming a cavity adapted to be in fluid communication with the patient’s airways such that both the front panel and the back panel are exposed to therapeutic pressurized breathable gas in use； and a seal member (40) separate from and connected to the back panel and adapted to sealingly engage the patient’s face, the seal member including an opening formed therein and configured to deliver breathable gas to the patient’s airways in use, wherein the back panel is less rigid than the front panel, and wherein the seal member comprises textile. The textile seal allowing for increased comfort of the wearer.
