PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush capable of accurately detecting plaque, etc. on a site now being brushed with the toothbrush in real time.SOLUTION: The electric toothbrush includes a control part 50 which drives a vibration part (stem 11 and brush unit 20) for vibration, the vibration part having a plurality of brushes 22, a light-emitting element 16, and a light receiving element 17 arranged thereon.
