Disclosed are a tumor tracking method and an apparatus thereof. The tumor tracking method includes: a step of obtaining an x-ray projected image for a part of a body of a patient； and a step of determining a location of a tumor by using a joint histogram result of the obtained x-ray projected image and a reference projected image. The tumor tracking apparatus includes: an image obtaining unit obtaining an x-ray projected image for a part of a body of a patient； a tumor tracking unit determining a location of a tumor by using by using a joint histogram result of the obtained x-ray projected image and a reference projected image.종양 추적 방법 및 그 장치가 개시된다. 종양 추적 방법은 환자의 신체 일부분에 대한 X선 투사 영상을 획득하는 단계； 및 상기 획득된 X선 투사 영상과 참조 투사 영상의 조인트 히스토그램 결과를 이용하여 종양 위치를 결정하는 단계를 포함한다.
