A drug delivery device and controller are disclosed. The drug delivery device includes a drug container, a plunger rod, and an elastic member. The plunger rod contacts a slidable stopper in the drug container for releasing the drug. The elastic member is used to apply a force to the plunger rod during drug delivery.
