PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overheating detection unit capable of reducing a current supply amount to a temperature detection sensor, being mounted on an oxygen concentrator and being operated for a long period of time, and an oxygen concentrator.SOLUTION: The overheating detection unit includes a control part 450 for operating a closing structure part and shutting off the supply of oxygen when a temperature at an oxygen exit part obtained from a temperature detection sensor 453 is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature.
