PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved and easily usable portable non-walking type tactile sensible ECG recorder which may be mass-produced at a low cost and enables a large scale use outside a hospital or other medical facilities equipped with ECG.SOLUTION: A device (100) includes a cover (102) which is hinge-connected to a base (104) equipped with a pair of separated tactile electrodes (117) engageable with both hands (118) of a patient during ECG recording and a cover 102 hingedly connected to a base 104 provided with at least one indicator lamp (119) to report a starting state and a finishing state of ECG recording. A circuit (124) is electrically connected to the electrodes (117) and the state indicator lamp (119), and includes a processor (126) and memory (127) to receive and store ECG signals from a patient touching the electrodes (117).
