PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition suitable for transdermal delivery, particularly iontophoretic transdermal delivery, of cationic active agents.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a composition for an iontophoretic transdermal delivery of at least one cationic active agent or a salt thereof, the composition comprising the at least one cationic active agent or a salt thereof, at least one polyamine or a polyamine salt, water or an aqueous solvent mixture, and optionally one or more additives.
