This invention is about a wheelchair applicable rehabilitation assistive apparatus. On the base, it equipped with a passive wheel, an electric wheel, a set of sprocket wheel, two pedals, an encoder, a set of brake and a microcomputer controller. These components composed into a modular rehabilitation assistive apparatus that could be applicable to wheelchairs. The wheelchair could be driven either by stepping on the pedals or by manually actuating the electric wheel of the rehabilitation assistive apparatus. The wheelchair could also be moved solely electrically when the electric wheel is engaging with the sprocket wheel set to carry out the rotary motion.
