Abstract: Device and method of an Infrared Camera to detect dental caries and its image is captured and stored in a computer / mobile phone for further processing or Second Opinion To provide a vision device capable for irradiating a subject with excitation light for extracting an abnormal region and photographing the abnormal region in oral cavity present in the subject. An excitation light means for radiating the excitation light with such wavelength as can extract the abnormal region present in the subject tooth disposed on the front face of the camera body of a generally used web cam. A filter for excluding the excitation light is disposed in camera light receiving, so that the image of the abnormal region in the captured image is clearly projected. A general user can also operate without any special skill and can identify the abnormality present in the subject. The camera is applicable to connect with the Computer / mobile phone and can be carried mobile with ease.
