PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key input device capable of making it difficult to aggravate a pressing habit.SOLUTION: A key input device in an embodiment comprises: setting means recognition means and resetting instruction means. The setting means sets an allowable region for a key predetermined region on a screen. The recognition means determines, when a desired key is touched, whether a position of the touch is within the allowable region corresponding to the desired key. When determining that it is within the allowable region, the recognition means notifies display control means that an input was done by the desired key.
