The present invention provides a device and a method for diagnosing a sleep apnea, which analyze images and respiration sounds captured for a predetermined time with respect to a sleeping person to diagnose whether the person is a sleep apnea patient. The device and the method for diagnosing a sleep apnea analyze the image and can separate the image into a plurality of time sections based on movement of the person.
