The present invention relates to a composition for immunity enhancement having effects of increasing the viability and function of spleen cells containing fucoidane. Fucoidane with difference molecular weights exhibits a differentiated effect on the survival rate and immune function of immune cells. In particular, polymer fucoidan according to the present invention was confirmed to exhibit a power immunostimulatory activity on spleen cells by increasing the survival rate of spleen cells, the stimulation of cell activity, the expression of CD19, CD25 or CD69, the membrane potential level of intracellular mitochondria, and the production of IFN-&gamma； and NO, and thus can be used as food for immunity enhancement and an animal feed additive composition.분자량이 서로 다른 후코이단은 면역세포의 생존율과 면역기능에 차별된 효과를 나타내며, 특히 본 발명에 따른 고분자 후코이단은 비장세포의 생존율, 세포활성 자극, CD19, CD25 또는 CD69 발현, 세포 내 미토콘드리아의 막전위 수준, IFN-γ 및 NO의 생산을 증대함으로써 비장세포에 대한 강력한 면역자극활성을 나타냄을 확인하였으므로 면역증강용 식품, 동물 사료 첨가 조성물로 사용할 수 있다.
