PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for predicting coming-off of makeup caused by sebum without imposing a heavy burden on a subject and recommending a cosmetic material that reduces the coming-off of makeup for the subject.SOLUTION: An evaluation method for coming-off of makeup obtains a scattering coefficient, an absorption coefficient, and a refractive index of a cosmetic material, or optical data convertible thereto, with respect to a plurality of states having different addition amounts of oily components in the cosmetic material, and obtains a spectral reflectivity of a bare skin. The method evaluates the coming-off of makeup by calculating and comparing the spectral reflectivity of a skin to which the cosmetic material has been applied when a coated film of the cosmetic material is formed on the bare skin in a predetermined coating amount, for each addition amount of oily components in the coated film of the cosmetic material, by using an estimation equation for estimating the spectral reflectivity of the skin to which the cosmetic material has been applied through the use of the scattering coefficient, the absorption coefficient, the refractive index, the coating amount of the cosmetic material and the spectral reflectivity of the bare skin, or the optical data convertible thereto, based on an optical model in a state of lamination of the bare skin layer and the coated film of the cosmetic material.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】被験者に大きな負担をかけることなく、皮脂による化粧崩れを予測し、被験者にとって化粧崩れの少ない化粧料を推奨できるようにする。
