PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation unit for putting plants in the vicinity of a track, easy to remove when partly exchanging and making a good appearance. SOLUTION: The vegetation unit 1 has a box-like body 10 with opened upper part and a vegetation part 11 in which lawn 31 to be arranged in the box-like part 10 is vegetated. The connecting side board 15 of the box-like body 10 of the vegetation unit 1 inclines to expand toward the outside so as to make the unit easily removable at the time of exchanging after spreading over. Since the connecting side board 15 is lower than a longitudinal side 16, the upper rim part 19 of the connecting side board 15 can be hidden.
