PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponic apparatus with which cultivation and seedling of plant may be carried out while suppressing entanglement of plant roots in each part of the hydroponic apparatus.SOLUTION: A hydroponic apparatus comprises: a supporting part 101 supporting an underground part 102 of a plant； a moisture retaining part 103 retaining moisture supplied to the underground part 102 of the plant supported by the supporting part 101； a moisture supplying part 104 which has water absorptive property and supplies moisture from the moisture retaining part 103 to the supporting part 101； a water retaining part 105 which absorbs moisture supplied from the moisture supplying part 104 and retains water for adjusting humidity at around the underground part 102 of the plant. At least one of the moisture supplying part 104 and the water retaining part 105 is made of water-permeable material comprising narrow holes having smaller diameter than the root diameter of the plant on its surface.【課題】 水耕栽培装置各部への植物の根の絡まりを抑制し、植物の栽培及び育苗を行うことができる水耕栽培装置を提供する。【解決手段】 水耕栽培装置は、植物の地下部１０２を支持する支持部１０１と、支持部１０１で支持した植物の地下部１０２へ供給する水分を貯蔵する水分貯蔵部１０３と、吸水性を有し、水分貯蔵部１０３から支持部１０１へ水分を供給する水分供給部１０４と、植物の地下部１０２周囲の湿度を調整するために水分供給部１０４により供給された水分を吸収して保水する保水部１０５と、を備え、水分供給部１０４及び保水部１０５の少なくとも一方は、表面に植物の根径より小さい細孔を有する透水性材料により形成されている。【選択図】 図１
