PURPOSE: A Ricinus communis L.-derived protein with PDAT(phospholipid diacylglycerol acyltransferase) is provided to enhance production of hydroxyl fatty acid.CONSTITUTION: A protein with PDAT(phospholipid diacylglycerol acyltransferase) activity has an amino acid of sequence number 3. The PDAT protein is derived from Ricinus communis L. A nucleic acid molecule encoding the PDAT protein has a base sequence of sequence number 6. A transgenic plant with enhanced hydroxyl fatty acid production is prepared by transforming the nucleic acid molecule with a recombinant vector. A method for preparing the hydroxyl fatty acid comprises: a step of culturing the transgenic plant and a step of collecting hydroxyl fatty acid from seeds of the transgenic plant.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012본 발명은 포스포리피드 다이아실글리세롤 아실트랜스퍼라아제(Phospholipid diacylglycerol acyltransferase PDAT) 활성을 가지는 피마자 유래의 신규 단백질에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 PDAT 활성을 가지는 단백질, 단백질을 코딩하는 핵산분자, 핵산분자를 포함하는 재조합 벡터, 재조합 벡터로부터 형질전환되어 종자에서 하이드록시 지방산 생산이 증진된 형질전환식물, 그리고 형질전환 식물을 이용하여 하이드록시 지방산을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
