The present invention relates to a urethral catheter which automatically contracts an expansion unit formed to fix a catheter when forcibly withdrawing the catheter to prevent a laceration or a urethral blockage in a withdrawal process of the catheter. According to the present invention, the urethral catheter comprises: a connection hose having a urine discharge tube to discharge urine and a fluid inlet tube in which a fluid moves； a urine inlet unit formed on one end of the connection hose to enter a bladder through a urethra and to discharge urine to the urine discharge tube； an expansion unit formed on one end of the connection hose, and expanded by a fluid entering through the fluid inlet tube while the urine inlet unit is inserted into the bladder to block the urine inlet unit from being withdrawn through the urethra； and an expansion control unit to discharge a fluid of the expansion unit to the outside to contract the expansion unit when an external force to forcibly withdraw the connection hose and the urine inlet unit is applied.본 발명은 카테터의 고정을 위해 형성되어 있는 팽창부가 카테터의 강제 인출시 자동으로 수축되도록 함으로써 카테터의 인출 과정에서 열상이 발생하거나 요도가 막히는 것을 방지할 수 있는 요도카테터에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 요도카테터는 소변이 배출되는 소변배출관과, 유체가 이동하는 유체유입관이 형성되어 있는 연결호스와, 상기 연결호스의 일단에 형성되고, 요도를 통해 방광으로 진입하여 상기 소변배출관으로 방광의 소변이 배출되도록 형성된 소변유입부와, 상기 연결호스의 일단에 형성되며, 상기 소변유입부가 방광 내부에 삽입된 상태에서 상기 유체유입관을 통해 유입되는 유체에 의해 팽창하여 상기 소변유입부가 요도를 통해 인출되는 것을 차단하는 팽창부와, 상기 연결호스 및 소변유입부를 강제로 인출하려는 외력이 작용할 때, 상기 팽창부의 유체를 외부로 배출시켜 상기 팽창부를 수축시키는 팽창제어유닛을 포함한다.
