The invention relates to a solid pharmaceutical composition comprising cytisine as an active substance. The composition is characterized by that it contains from 20% to 75% by weight of microcrystalline cellulose, glidant and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient chosen from a group comprising: mannitol, colloidal silicon dioxide, calcium hydrogen phosphate, whereby at least 60% of cytisine particles have size from 10 µm to 200 µm.
