The present invention discloses an iron-containing oxide/nanokaolin composite hemostatic agent and a method for producing the same. This composite hemostatic agent is composed of nanokaolin and iron oxide, the nanokaolin is used as a carrier, and the iron oxide is supported on the surface of the nanokaolin piece. This composite hemostatic agent is obtained by a precipitation method. The composite hemostatic agent has advantages such as good hemostatic effect, fast healing speed of wounds, no remarkable cytotoxicity and hemolytic phenomenon, and high biocompatibility.
