The therapeutic medicament and the drug delivery system comprises two different types of micro-particles based on a biodegradable polyester whereby a first plurality of micro-particles (I) containing anticancer drug or medicament without an initial burst release and a second plurality of micro-particles (II) that releases wound healing drug or medicament.
