PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus in which a sufficient amount of MR signal data to obtain an excellent image quality is secured if a distortion of a readout-direction gradient magnetic field cannot be ignored after compensation of an eddy current magnetic field is performed.SOLUTION: The MRI apparatus collects MR signals from an imaging region while applying a readout-direction gradient magnetic field in a pulse sequence, generates k-space data by applying sampling including regridding processing to the MRI signals, and reconstructs an image on the basis of the k-space data. The MRI apparatus comprises a determination unit and an imaging condition setting unit. The determination unit calculates the shortage of k-space data after the regridding processing on the basis of the intensity and waveform of the readout-direction gradient magnetic field obtained from the pulse sequence condition. The imaging condition setting corrects the pulse sequence condition according to the shortage of k-space data in such a way as to dissolve the shortage.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】渦電流磁場補償の実行後においても、読み出し方向傾斜磁場の歪が無視できない場合に、良好な画質を得るために十分な量のMR信号のデータを確実に確保する磁気共鳴イメージング装置を提供する。【解決手段】MRI装置は、パルスシーケンスに従って読み出し方向傾斜磁場を印加しつつ撮像領域からMR信号を収集し、リグリッディング処理が含まれるサンプリングをMR信号に施すことでk空間データを生成し、k空間データに基づいて画像を再構成する。このMRI装置は、判定部と、撮像条件設定部とを有する。判定部は、パルスシーケンスの条件から得られる読み出し方向傾斜磁場の強度及び波形に基づいて、リグリッディング処理後のk空間データの不足量を算出する。撮像条件設定部は、k空間データの不足が解消されるように、上記不足量に応じたパルスシーケンスの条件補正を実行する。【選択図】図11
