PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension detection device which can be used for management of a body condition.SOLUTION: A tension detection device comprises: a belt-like part which is wound to a living body； a precompression part which has an elastic body which is elastically deformed following to change of tension applied to the belt-like part in a longitudinal direction, and which generates predetermined initial tension in the belt-like part in the longitudinal direction； and a detection part for detecting change of the tension to the initial tension, as a detection value.
