A sterile pack (10) contains a sealed sterile container (2) container having a single-use seal (6) capable of being opened manually by a user. The container contains a cleansing solution (4) at a concentration suitable for immediate use in direct contact with the skin, periocular tissue or ocular surface of a human or animal. A removable label may be provided for placement in a patient record to provide traceability.
