The present invention relates to a walking assisting device for a disabled person. When a disabled person, especially an infantile paralysis patient, walks by mainly using his/her knee joints, an excessive reverse-bending in which the knees are disposed at the back of the hips occurs, so that his/her legs are not uprightly bent or opened up and down and he/she has to move while severely shaking his/her body left and right. Thus, the disabled person experiences inconvenience when walking and walking speed is slow, so that the person becomes a focus of attention. However, by means of the walking assisting device of the present invention, a disabled person can walk similarly to a normal person. The walking assisting device for a disabled person according to the present invention comprises: a thigh assembly including a first frame formed at both sides to come in contact with the inside and the outside of the thigh and a first support including a first body connecting the first frame and enclosing the rear of the thigh and a first projection protruding on the top of the first body to enclose the gracilis； a lower leg assembly including a second frame formed at both sides to come in contact with the inside and the outside of the lower leg and a second support having a second body connecting the second frames and enclosing the gastrocnemius； and a patellofemoral joint connecting the first and second frames.본 발명은 특히 소아마비 환자 등의 경우 무릎관절을 중심으로 보행시 무릎이 엉덩이 보다 뒤쪽에 위치하는 형태의 과도한 역(逆)접힘 현상이나 다리가 상하 똑바로 접히고 펴지는 것이 아니라 좌우로 심하게 요동하면서 동작하게 되어 보행이 불편하고 보행속도가 늦으며 주위의 시선이 집중되는 문제가 발생되지 않고 정상인에 가까운 보행 동작이 보장될 수 있도록 한 장애우용 보행 보조장치에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 장애우용 보행 보조장치는 대퇴(大腿)의 내외 양측에 접하도록 양측에 각각 구비된 제1프레임과, 이 제1프레임을 연결하고 대퇴 후부를 감싸는 제1바디와, 이 제1바디 상측에 돌설되어 박근(薄筋, gracilis)을 감싸는 제1돌출부를 포함하는 제1서포트를 포함하는 대퇴결합체； 하퇴(下腿)의 내외와 접하도록 양측에 각각 구비된 제2프레임과, 이 제2프레임을 연결하고 비복근(腹筋, gastrocnemius)을 감싸는 제2바디를 갖는 제2서포트를 포함하는 하퇴결합체； 및 제1 및 제2 프레임을 연결하는 슬개관절체；를 포함하여 이루어진다.
