Provided herein are compounds, compositions and methods for the treatment of Gram positive bacterial infections. The infection in some embodiments, is a pulmonary infection. The method for treating the bacterial infection, comprises in one embodiment, administering to a patient in need thereof, a composition comprising an effective amount of a compound a glycopeptide derivative of Formula (I) or (II), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of Formula (I) or (II). The bacterial infection can comprise intracellular bacteria, planktonic bacteria and/or bacteria present in a biofilm.La présente invention concerne des composés, des compositions et des méthodes de traitement d'infections bactériennes à gram positif. Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'infection est une infection pulmonaire. La méthode de traitement de l'infection bactérienne consiste, dans un mode de réalisation, à administrer au patient en ayant besoin, une composition comprenant une quantité efficace d'un composé, un dérivé de glycopeptide de formule (I) ou (II), ou un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de formule (I) ou (II). L'infection bactérienne peut comprendre des bactéries intracellulaires, des bactéries planctoniques et/ou des bactéries présentes dans un biofilm.
