PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical needle safety device that prevents a sharp tip contaminated with blood or the like from incidentally projecting from the lower part of the device.SOLUTION: A medical needle safety device comprises a shield member 3'. The shield member includes: a shield hub 35； a shield member connection hub 40H'； and a leg part. The shield member connection hub includes a second sliding member. The second sliding member includes a lower wall and a sliding wall. The leg part can be extended from a first folded position to a second extended position. When the leg part is at the first folded position, a needle 21 is inserted inside a space of the shield member connection hub.
