The present disclosure relates to compositions containing at least one ionic polymer functionalized with at least one carboxylic acid moiety； at least one compound selected from an alkoxysilane, a nonionic latex polymer, or mixtures thereof； and at least one surfactant selected from an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, a cationic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, or mixtures thereof； and to methods of treating hair with these compositions.
