PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small hydrogen generator that uses a grainy hydrogen generation material in which a hydrogen generation material can be regenerated many times, and in which hydrogen gas can be easily taken in inhalation while generating hydrogen gas in the hydrogen generator, and the minimum of the hydrogen generator that can be executed can be carried by being stored in a bag.SOLUTION: A hydrogen generator is characterized by being composed as follows. A hydrogen generation material is used for a hydrogen generator, a space part is formed to an upper part of a water surface display of a sealed container, the sealed container forms an outside air introduction part and is provided with a check valve, an outside air introduction tube is disposed at an lower part of the check valve, and a foam generation nozzle is disposed at the distal end of the outside air introduction tube and is placed in water.
