PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical observation system suitable for removing the over-exposure and under-exposure.
SOLUTION: The medical observation system includes: a light source for emitting prescribed light scanning means for scanning a target with the light means for receiving the reflection light of the scanning light and detecting image signals means for determining disposition of pixels of image information expressed by the respective image signals based on the timing of detection of the image signals means for creating an image by spatially arranging respective image information according to the determined disposition of pixels means for detecting the luminance of the image signals detected at the timing corresponding to the respective pixels means for determining the time of emitting the light to regions on the target corresponding to the respective pixels based on the detected luminance and means for controlling the scanning speed of the light by the scanning means by unit corresponding to pixels based on the determined light emission time for each region.
