PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atomizer of small size and low cost, allowing separate exchanging of an individual component having a mesh function, and capable of driving at a low power.SOLUTION: An atomizer 1 includes a radial vibrator 20 which has a flat annular profile and performs contraction vibration in a radial direction R at ultrasonic frequency, vertical vibration element 25 which is substantially plate-like and is fitted to the radial vibrator in such a manner as to stop a hole surrounded with an annular portion of the radial vibrator, to vibrate in a vertical direction Z being vertical to the vibration direction of the radial vibrator following vibration of the radial vibrator, and a mesh element 30 which has substantially a plate-like profile and is separated to face the vertical vibration element. The mesh element includes a plurality of through holes 31 that penetrate in a vertical direction.
