A treatment system includes a massage machine that further includes a massage portion configured to perform a massage with respect to a user； a control unit configured to control the massage portion； means for receiving and setting a target value； and a notification portion. The control unit is configured to compare the target value received and a predetermined reference value and to determine whether a predetermined condition is satisfied. When the control unit determines that the predetermined condition is satisfied, the control unit is configured to cause the notification portion to urge the user to change the target value or to cause the setting means to prohibit the target value from being set.
