A sebum secretion inhibiting cosmetic composition is provided to be effective for inhibiting the sebum excessively secreted from skin by inhibiting the activity of 5alpha-reductase which is an enzyme for catalyzing the formation of dehydrotestosterone known to be inducing the sebum secretion. A cosmetic composition for inhibiting sebum secretion comprises an extract of Crataegus pinnatifida(hawthorn), an extract of Parthenocissus tricuspidata(Ivy) and an extract of Syzygium aromaticum(clove), where the total content of extracts regarding the weight of the composition is 0.001-10 wt.%.본 발명은 산사나무(hawthorn) 추출물, 담쟁이덩굴(Ivy) 추출물 및 클로브(Clove) 추출물을 함유하는 피지 억제용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 상기 피지 억제용 화장료 조성물의 천연 추출물들은 피지분비를 유발한다고 알려진 디하이드로테스토스테론의 생성을 촉매하는 효소인 5α-리덕테이즈의 활성을 억제함으로써, 피부에서 과잉으로 분비되는 피지를 억제하는데 유용한 효과를 나타낸다.
