The invention relates to an analgesic composition containing memantine. According to the invention, such a composition is administered daily to a human patient having to undergo a surgical operation, over a period ranging from one day to a plurality of days before said surgical operation, in order to prevent and treat the development of post-operative neuropathic pain in this same patient.Linvention concerne une composition analgésique contenant de la mémantine.
