The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating allergic disease, such as asthma or atopy, which contains baicalein as an active ingredient for controlling thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP)-mediated signal transduction. According to the present invention, the baicalein component extracted from scutellaria controls intracellular signal transduction by TSLP to inhibit phosphorylation of intracellular signal transducer and activator of transcription 5 (STAT5), and also suppresses a reaction between TSLP and TSLP receptor (TSLPR), thereby enabling production of pharmaceutical compositions capable of effectively inhibiting the occurrence of inflammatory reactions in allergic or asthmatic disease. In addition, by containing a compound having synergistic effects with baicalein, the pharmaceutical composition can effectively inhibit occurrence of inflammation reactions in allergic diseases such as asthma or atopy.본 발명은 흉선 기질 림프단백질 매개 신호전달을 제어하는 바이칼레인을 유효성분으로 함유하는 천식 또는 아토피 등의 알러지성 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 따르면, 황금으로부터 추출한 바이칼레인 성분이 TSLP에 의한 세포내 신호 전달을 제어하여 세포내 STAT5의 인산화를 억제하고, TSLP와 TSLPR의 반응을 저해함을 확인함으로써, 알러지 또는 천식 질환의 염증 반응 형성을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있는 약학 조성물을 제공할 수 있으며, 바이칼레인과 시너지 효과가 있는 화합물을 더 포함하여 천식 또는 아토피 등의 알러지성 질환의 염증 반응 형성을 더욱 효과적으로 억제할 수 있는 약학 조성물을 제공할 수 있다.
