The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a parasiticidal composition comprising at least 40% of alkali metal bicarbonate and at least 1% of silica, characterized in that: at least 35% of the alkali metal bicarbonate of the composition is milled in the presence of silica in order to form a mixture of particles, and if necessary, the remainder of the alkali metal bicarbonate is added to the mixture of particles to form the parasiticidal composition, and said parasiticidal composition has a particle size distribution such that at least 50% by weight of the particles have a diameter of less than 100 μm. The invention also relates to the parasiticidal composition capable of being obtained by the present method and also to the use of the parasiticidal composition obtained by the present method in the form of a powder, a suspension or a gel.Linvention porte sur un procédé pour la fabrication dune composition parasiticide comprenant au moins 40 % de bicarbonate de métal alcalin et au moins 1 % de silice, caractérisé en ce que : au moins 35 % du bicarbonate de métal alcalin de la composition est broyé en présence de silice afin de former un mélange de particules et, si besoin, le reste du bicarbonate de métal alcalin est ajouté au mélange de particules pour former la composition parasiticide et ladite composition parasiticide a une distribution de la taille des particules telle quau moins 50 % en poids des particules ont un diamètre inférieur à 100 μm. Linvention porte également sur la composition parasiticide pouvant être obtenue par le présent procédé et également sur lutilisation de la composition parasiticide obtenue par le présent procédé sous la forme dune poudre, dune suspension ou dun gel.
