PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hair cosmetics that can provide proper fluffiness, elasticity, and moisture to the hair of women who are around the time of menopause and feeling that their hair has become wispy and weak, giving the hair a finish not stiff or sticky.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic of the invention comprises (A) silicone resin having a crosslinked structure, (B) vinyl acetate/vinylpyrrolidone copolymer and/or polyvinylpyrrolidone, (C) a cationic surfactant, and (D) a long chain aliphatic alcohol, where the mass ratio of components (A) and (B) and component (C), i.e., (A+B)/C, is 0.1-2.5.
