The present invention relates to a wheelchair enabling a patient who has difficulty in moving, an old person, or a handicapped person to move while sitting. The wheelchair includes a chair frame, a pair of main wheels, a pair of auxiliary wheels, a pair of guides, and a locking device. The chair frame is formed in order for a user to sit thereon. The pair of main wheels is installed on both sides of the chair frame to individually rotate. The pair of auxiliary wheels is installed in front of the main wheels. The pair of guides is installed on the both sides of the chair frame to individually rotate while the pair of guides is linked to each other. While the chair frame is tilted backward, the position of each rear end is adjusted to be in contact with the ground surface so that the chair frame is prevented from being turned over.
