At that the filling insert is mounted on the supporting part of the table at a time when the RF head coil assembly is not installed on the supporting part of the table. The recess part of the table comprises a central anchoring groove, which is located approximately in the center of the recess portion, and a front fixing recess, which is arranged along the front edge of the recess portion. The filling insert has a front fixing element that connects with the front fixing recess and a central anchoring element that connects with the central anchoring groove for alignment and fixation of the filling insert in place on the table.
