<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to surely wear an authentication apparatus in an authentication and prevent the detachment of the authentication apparatus from the body after the authentication with the user held in the authenticated state. <；P>；SOLUTION: This authentication apparatus 1 detects fingerprints (bioinformation authenticating a person) from a fingerprint sensor 2, heart rate signals (bioinformation authenticating a worn site) from heart rate signal detection electrodes 3a and 3b, and the wearing state of a band 5 from the band in such a manner as overlapping at least a part of the detection periods. When all of the three items are authenticated, the authentication apparatus 1 authenticates the user as a registered user. This authentication apparatus 1 can thus authenticate the person by making the user surely wear the authentication apparatus 1.
