The present embodiments relate generally to user interfaces of ultrasoundimagingsystems. The user interface includes an ultrasound image feed and a singlecontrol formodifying imaging depth. When input via the single control is received tomodify the imagingdepth, the system: adjusts frequency of ultrasound signals being used toacquire the ultrasoundimage feed adjusts a beamfonner parameter of the ultrasound signals beingused to acquire theultrasound image feed receives first image data of the ultrasound image feedbased on theadjusted frequency and the adjusted beamformer parameter based on the firstimage data,adjusts Time Gain Compensation (TGC) of the ultrasound image feed andreceives secondimage data of the ultrasound image feed based on the adjusted frequency,beamformerparameter and TGC. Display of the second image data on the touchscreen displayis thenoptimized without receipt of additional user input.
